Give a birthday present to SocialistWorker.org

The new daily SocialistWorker.org turned one year old on May Day.

When we started this daily source for news and opinion from the left a year ago, we couldn't have guessed how right the time was. Now, one year later, a recent Rasmussen opinion poll tells us that only a bare majority of Americans say they prefer capitalism as an economic system, and the last year has seen important struggles emerge to reshape the U.S. left.

We have lots of plans for our second year. But we need your help to accomplish all this--including your financial help. Please consider giving us a birthday present.

We know things are very tight right now, at least for the people likely to be reading our Web site. But we've always relied on the financial support of our readers to keep publishing the socialist point of view--and now is no exception.

So we're asking for your generosity. Click on any of the buttons below, and you'll be taken to a PayPal Web page, where you can give to SocialistWorker.org, using either a credit card for a one-time transaction, or through an existing PayPal account that you've set up.

Note: SocialistWorker.org is not an official non-profit organization, so your contribution is not tax-deductible. If you'd like to mail your contribution, send a check or money, payable to "Socialist Worker," to: SW, P.O. Box 16085, Chicago, IL 60616. If you have any questions about donating, contact us at info@socialistworker.org.
